How can you make a school uniform be emo or punk? - neon button up shirt

No haters! I want to be clear. I go to a private school and our uniform is a white button shirt, red vest, pleated plaid skirt, knee socks and white sneakers and black flags. I thought my heater I orange and black for my sneakers without laces, and I thought put black lace, instead of changing the white and neon colors, if not boring. What other things can I do?
